The Srimad Bhagavatam, for instance, not only identifies Lord Chaitanya but also describes His mission as follows:. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krishna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons, and confidential companions.
The books of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami range from the vast ancient scriptures highlighted above to books like the Sri Isopanisad with its concise 18 verses which can simultaneously satisfy the most astute of spiritual seekers to someone just beginning their spiritual journey.
The purpose of this book is to allow one direct experience of Lord Krishna and thereby become freed from material bondage by developing love for Him. The real fact is that people can only be happy by loving Krishna.
Sri lsopanisad is the essence of all Vedic knowledge. It is recommended for the novice as well as the most highly elevated souls. It covers all aspects of spiritual life including the purpose of life, the attainment of peace, understanding of the soul and reincarnation, real education and the process of self-realization.
